Terms of Service

By using Zapiro, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully — they are written in plain language to be easy to understand.

01 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Zapiro platform — including our website at zapiro.in, vendor dashboard at app.zapiro.in, WhatsApp booking system, or any related services — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the platform. These terms apply to all users including customers, vendors, and visitors.

Simple version: Using Zapiro means you accept these rules. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.

02 About Zapiro

Zapiro is a WhatsApp-based appointment booking platform that connects customers with beauty and wellness service vendors in India. We provide:

  • A WhatsApp bot that generates secure booking links for customers
  • A booking page accessible within the WhatsApp in-app browser
  • A vendor dashboard for managing services, slots, and bookings
  • An admin panel for platform management
  • Automated WhatsApp confirmation and reminder messages

Zapiro is a technology platform, not a service provider. We connect customers with vendors but do not employ or control the vendors and are not responsible for the services they provide.

03 User Types

Customers

Customers are individuals who use Zapiro to book appointments with vendors. No registration or login is required. Customers access the platform through a secure token URL sent via WhatsApp.

Vendors

Vendors are service businesses that register on Zapiro to receive and manage bookings. Vendor registration requires manual approval by Zapiro admin. By registering, vendors agree to all terms applicable to vendors in this document.

Admins

Zapiro administrators manage the platform, approve vendors, and have access to all platform data as described in our Privacy Policy.

04 Customer Terms

As a customer using Zapiro, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate name and phone number when booking
  • Use the secure booking link only for your own personal booking
  • Not share, forward, or attempt to reuse a booking token link
  • Attend your booked appointment at the scheduled time
  • Pay the booking convenience fee honestly at the time of booking
  • Not attempt to book multiple slots simultaneously to block vendor availability
  • Treat vendors and their staff with respect

Important: The booking fee you pay online (₹5–₹50) is a convenience fee to confirm your slot. The full service charge is paid directly to the vendor at their premises. Zapiro does not collect service charges.

05 Vendor Terms

As a registered vendor on Zapiro, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete business information during registration
  • Keep your service listings, pricing, and availability up to date
  • Honour all confirmed bookings made through the platform
  • Not discriminate against customers based on any protected characteristic
  • Pay the applicable monthly subscription fee on time
  • Not use Zapiro to conduct fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal activity
  • Not collect customer data obtained through Zapiro for purposes outside of serving the booked appointment
  • Update your availability status to prevent overbooking
  • Respond to customer complaints professionally and in good faith

Zapiro reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate vendor accounts that violate these terms without prior notice and without refund of subscription fees paid.

06 Payments & Fees

Booking Convenience Fee (from Customers)

Customers pay a small booking convenience fee when confirming an appointment. This fee is based on the selected service category:

All payments are processed securely by Razorpay. Razorpay transaction charges may be deducted automatically from the booking fee collected.

Initially, Zapiro follows a commission-based model to build trust with vendors. Vendors pay only when they receive bookings. In the future, Zapiro may offer flat monthly subscription plans so vendors can keep 100% of their service earnings.

07 Cancellations & Refunds

Customer Booking Fee

  • The booking convenience fee is non-refundable once a booking is confirmed
  • No refund is provided for rescheduled bookings, as the service will still be fulfilled
  • Refunds are issued only if the vendor cancels the booking
  • If a vendor cancels the appointment, a full refund of the booking fee will be issued within 5–7 business days
  • If a booking fails due to a technical error on our platform, a full refund will be processed automatically

Vendor Pricing & Responsibility

  • Zapiro currently follows a commission-based model (up to 12%) per booking, based on service category
  • In the future, Zapiro may introduce subscription-based plans for vendors
  • If a vendor cancels a confirmed booking, the booking fee will be borne by the vendor, and the customer will receive a full refund
  • Vendors must ensure accurate availability slots, as cancellations may result in charges and impact customer experience

Refund requests must be submitted to support@zapiro.in within 7 days of the transaction. We will review and respond within 5 business days.

08 WhatsApp Usage

Zapiro uses the Meta WhatsApp Cloud API to deliver booking messages. By interacting with the Zapiro WhatsApp bot, you acknowledge:

  • Your conversation data is processed and stored by Zapiro as described in our Privacy Policy
  • Message delivery depends on WhatsApp/Meta services and may occasionally be delayed or fail due to factors outside our control
  • You will only receive transactional messages — confirmations, reminders, and support replies
  • You must not attempt to misuse or reverse-engineer the WhatsApp bot
  • WhatsApp's own Terms of Service also apply to your use of their messaging platform

09 Prohibited Conduct

You must not use Zapiro to:

  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent booking information
  • Attempt to access another user's account or booking data
  • Reverse-engineer, copy, or replicate any part of the Zapiro platform
  • Send spam, unsolicited messages, or abuse the WhatsApp bot
  • Attempt to bypass the token system or access booking pages without a valid token
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers on any part of the platform
  • Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
  • Engage in any activity that violates applicable Indian law

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension and legal action where applicable.

10 Intellectual Property

All intellectual property on the Zapiro platform — including the brand name, logo, website design, software, WhatsApp bot flows, and platform content — is owned exclusively by Zapiro.

  • You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of our platform without written permission
  • Vendor content (logos, service descriptions, photos) remains the property of the respective vendor
  • By uploading content to Zapiro, vendors grant us a non-exclusive licence to display that content on the platform

11 Limitation of Liability

Zapiro provides the platform on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law:

  • We are not liable for any service quality issues between customers and vendors
  • We are not responsible for vendor cancellations, delays, or no-shows
  • We are not liable for any loss of income, profits, or business opportunity arising from platform downtime
  • Our total liability to any user shall not exceed the amount paid by that user to Zapiro in the 30 days preceding the claim
  • We are not responsible for interruptions to WhatsApp or Razorpay services

This limitation does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under Indian consumer protection law.

12 Termination

By You

Vendors may terminate their account at any time by contacting support@zapiro.in. Customers do not have formal accounts and may simply stop using the platform.

By Zapiro

We may suspend or terminate any account immediately and without notice if:

  • You violate any of these Terms of Service
  • We detect fraudulent activity on your account
  • You fail to pay subscription fees after a grace period
  • We are required to do so by law or legal authority

Upon termination, your access to the platform will be revoked and your data will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

13 Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

We encourage users to first attempt to resolve disputes amicably by contacting our support team before pursuing legal remedies.
